Never has New York Civic’s fight for reform in Albany and City Hall been more critical to our everyday lives. Over the past year, we’ve pushed aggressively for independent redistricting, ethics reform, and greater fiscal responsibility. We’ve built coalitions with like-minded organizations to increase our strength, held many free events to educate the public about issues of importance, created programs to encourage young people and first-time candidates to run for office, and instituted fellowships aimed at helping investigative journalists to stay vigilant in the pursuit of a more honest and transparent government.

However, as a 501(c)3 nonprofit good government group, New York Civic’s resources pale in comparison to the war chests of the lobbyists, special interests, and unscrupulous politicians who want to crush our demands for reform. Your tax-deductible contribution will ensure that we can push back!
